Terms of Service

Tempus is a personal planning app. By downloading, installing, or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using and uninstall the app.

1. Eligibility and use

• You are at least 13 years old; if you are between 13-17, you use the app with consent from a parent/guardian.
• You are responsible for your device, connectivity, telecom charges, and safeguarding any login or notification settings.
• You will not use the app for unlawful, abusive, or disruptive purposes, and will respect others' rights.

2. Limited license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Tempus for personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, translate, create derivative works, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit the app commercially without our prior written consent.

3. Your content and data

You own the data you enter (calendar events, reminders, tasks, habits, notes, notification settings, etc.). You represent you have the right to that data and it does not infringe others. You grant us the right to process it as needed to operate features such as sync, scheduling suggestions, notifications, and backups via third-party services (e.g., platform sync, analytics, or AI features you enable).

4. Fees and subscriptions

Certain features may be paid or subscription-based. Prices, billing cycles, promotions, and entitlements may change; any change will be communicated clearly in the App Store/Google Play or in-app before you confirm. Payments are handled by the app store, and any bank or payment provider fees are your responsibility. Refunds follow the applicable store policies unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Sending spam, malware, or attempting to access systems, APIs, or code not intended for you.
• Copying or releasing a competing product based on the app's interface or functionality.
• Using AI features (if available) to create unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Interfering with the app's operation or attempting to bypass security or rate limits.

6. Updates and changes to the service

We may update the app to improve performance, security, or features; you agree to install updates. We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the app at any time. If we end the service, your license ends and you must stop using and uninstall the app.

7. Intellectual property

The app, code, design, trademarks, logos, and content we provide are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the app will not exceed the amounts you paid for the service in the three (3) months before the claim (or the minimum amount required by mandatory law).

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the app, or infringement of third-party rights.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country or state of residence, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply. Disputes will first be resolved amicably; if unresolved, they will be brought before the competent courts where you reside, unless mandatory law requires a different forum.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect product or legal changes. Updated versions will be posted here and/or in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
